Disabled Trailers Cause Backups On Major Parsippany, Kearny Highways
A pair of disabled tractor trailers backed up two major North Jersey highways Tuesday evening. The jackknifed trailer and fuel spill in on the northbound side of Route 287 happened when the truck struck a pillar to the overpass around 7 p.m., near milepost 42.1. Disabled Tractor Trailer Causes Miles-Long Backup On NJ Turnpike In Newark
Traffic backed up on the southbound side of the NJ Turnpike in Newark when a tractor trailer apparently split in half and spilled its content across the highway Thursday evening, initial reports say. Overturned Tractor Trailer Blocking All Lanes Jams Route 80 In Roxbury
The eastbound side of Route 80 Wednesday morning due to an overturned tractor trailer on the eastbound side of Route 80 in Roxbury. Traffic was nearly at a standstill for several miles as of 9 a.m., drivers and 511nj.org reported. Another Route 80 Delay: Overturned Tractor Trailer Shuts Eastbound Highway In Roxbury
Route 80 was backed up Friday morning after a tractor trailer overturned spilling fuel across the highway. All lanes were closed near Exit 34 - NJ 15 as of 10:30 a.m., according to 511nj.org. The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. Photos show the trailer hanging off the guardrail. Delays of 90 minutes were reported. Motorists urged to plan alternate routes during rush hours.

: Route 4 Overpass Replacement Shuts Paramus Road For 3 Weeks
Start planning your alternative routes. The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be replacing the Paramus Road overpass above Route 4 beginning May 31. The overpass will be demolished and reconstructed over the course, shutting the portion of Paramus Road completely (yes, 24 hours a day). Police urge motorist to plan accordingly.

BMW, Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Rt. 22 East In Hillside, One Dead
Traffic was being detoured away from Rt. 22 eastbound in Hillside Monday morning after a BMW sedan crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer, ABC7 reports. The area between Bloy and North Broad streets was shut down for the crash investigation, which has been underway since early this morning. The crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. The driver of the BMW was killed in the crash, News 12 reported.
