Massachusetts Man Cuts GPS Monitor, Drives 374 Miles To Rob Bank: PA State Police
A Massachusetts man accused of cutting off his GPS monitor and driving hundreds of miles to rob a Pennsylvania bank is now in custody, state police announced.
Christopher Grannis, 38, of Worcester, is charged in the robbery at Pennian Bank in Howe Township (Perry County), Pennsylvania State Police said on Wednesday, April 22.
Troopers were dispatched to the bank on Red Hill Road around 12:45 p.m. on Monday, April 20, for a robbery in progress. The suspect had already fled in a black sedan when officers arrived, police said.

A driver charged in a crash that killed a 10-year-old girl had been arrested just days before the incident, according to newly released court records.
Sherrie Mae Plitouke, 35, of Southbridge, is accused of crashing into and killing 10-year-old Marleigh Guevara on April 11 in Webster. She was arraigned on charges of motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation, and speeding on Tuesday, April 21.

The 42-year-old Western Massachusetts inmate behind a vicious attack with a heavy metal lock that sent a fellow inmate to the hospital has been sentenced to additional prison time, authorities said.
