A judge reduced the bond for a woman accused of causing a head-on crash that killed a Connecticut police officer and his girlfriend — a mother of three — as court filings show her blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit at the time of the crash.

Bike Night Assault Suspect Accused Of Plotting To Throw Explosive Device In CT Business: Cops
A Connecticut man already charged in a violent assault at a Bike Night event is now accused of helping plot an explosive attack on the victim's business.
Kevin Lawlor, 48, of Derby, was arrested Thursday, July 23, on charges including conspiracy to commit third-degree arson and conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal mischief, according to Connecticut State Police.
The new charges stem from an incident on July 17, two days after a fight at Cadillac Ranch in Southington, where a man was shot, and another was beaten.
